RICHMOND, Va. – No. 63 University of Delaware men's tennis has been tabbed the second seed in the 2024 CAA Men's Tennis Championship, the league announced Monday. It is the highest seed the Blue Hens have had in program history.
In the midst of a record-breaking season, the Blue & Gold sit at 15-3 overall and 4-1 in league action, having been ranked in the ITA National Rankings for the last eight weeks. UD had never been ranked nationally before that stretch and peaked as high as No. 32.
Delaware will take on the winner of seventh-seeded Drexel and 10th-seeded Hofstra in the CAA Championship Quarterfinals on Friday at 3 p.m. in Williamsburg, Virginia on the campus of William & Mary.
