DOVER, Del. - The University of Delaware baseball team dropped a non-conference game against Delaware State by a score of 15-5 in seven innings on Tuesday.
With the loss, the Blue Hens are 27-23.Â

Starting on the mound was Tyler August. He pitched in 1.1 innings, followed seven runs (six earned) off two hits, walked four and struck out three batters. In relief was Carter Welch, Elias Conway, Owen Margolis, Nate Rolka.Â
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ

The Hornets got off to a 7-1 lead through the first two innings with the lone Blue Hen run coming off an Kane home run.

The Blue Hens chipped away at DSU's lead with a two-run double from Dengler and two sacrifice flies from Bryce Greenly and Eric Ludman to make it 7-5.

The Hornets rallied off eight runs from the fifth and sixth innings.
