Ellington also led the conference in saves per game at 13.36 and was second in goals against average at 9.60. In total, Ellington tallied 187 saves on the year with a conference-best 21 against Stony Brook on April 13. He amassed six games with 15 or more saves and held opponents to six or fewer goals five times.
Ellington was the only goalkeeper in the nation in the top-10 in save percentage, saves per game, and goals against average.
