Khokhlova’s Five Birdies Leads Women’s Golf in Second Round at NCAA Regionals

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The University of Delaware women's golf team carded an 18-over par in the second round of the Bermuda Run Regional, hosted by Wake Forest. The Blue Hens sit at 34-over par after the first 36 holes with team rounds of 304 and 306. Play is being held at the Bermuda Run Country Club East Course (par 72 / 6,297 yards).

Delaware will tee off in the third and final round of the Bermuda Run Regional at 8:55 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The Blue Hens will again start on the back nine of the course and will be paired with Charleston Southern and Navy for the third-straight day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Starting on the back nine, the round began well as the Blue Hens recorded 11 birdies on the day and currently sit in 12th place.
- Khokhlova had a team-high five birdies in the round as she climbed 13 spots in the standings with a 1-over par 73.
- Carroll had three birdies on the day, shooting an even par over the last nine holes.
