Women's Soccer Announces Schedule for 2024 Season

NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware women's soccer 2024 schedule has been released, second-year head coach Kelly Lawrence announced on Monday.

The Blue Hens season kicks off with two home exhibition matches at Stewart & Susan Grant Stadium, on Aug. 7 against Marshall and Aug. 10 against Army.

UD will start the regular season on the road against Big 12 opponent West Virginia on Aug. 15, and against Bucknell on Aug. 18.

The first two home games take place on Aug. 22 against ACC opponent Virginia Tech, followed by La Salle on Aug. 25.

The Blue Hens finish out non-conference play with a pair of road games against Liberty on Aug. 30, and Richmond on Sept. 1, followed by a pair of home games against Penn on Sept. 5 and George Mason on Sept. 15. UD will celebrate senior day against George Mason.

Coastal Athletic Association play begins on Sept. 22 with a matchup against Hofstra. Following their game against the Pride, the Blue Hens hit the road against Hampton on Sept. 26 and William & Mary on Sept. 29.

Three of the next four conference games will be at Grant Stadium, against Campell (Oct. 3), Drexel (Oct. 10) and Stony Brook (Oct. 13). They will play Monmouth on the road on Oct. 6 during the stretch.

After a road game against Charleston on Oct. 20, the Blue Hens close out the regular season against CAA regular season and tournament champions Towson on Oct. 24. They will finish the regular season against Northeastern on Oct. 27.

The conference tournament is set to take place on Oct. 31 with the first round. semifinals are on Nov. 3 and the championship game on Nov. 9. The top two seeds host the first round and semifinals and the highest remaining seed hosts the championship game.
