Cross Country Reveals 2024 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. – Get ready to hit the trails this fall with the University of Delaware cross country team, as head coach Josh Hayman is excited to unveil the 2024 schedule.
Delaware is gearing up for another thrilling and competitive season, featuring five key meets culminating in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) conference championship—the pinnacle opportunity to vie for the coveted CAA trophy.
The season kicks off on Friday, Aug. 30 at the Lehigh Invitational, hosted by Lehigh University at the scenic Goodman Campus Cross Country Course in Bethlehem, Pa.
Returning to the home trails, Delaware will host its annual invitational on Friday, Sept. 20 at White Clay Creek State Park in Newark, Del.
On Oct. 5, the squad heads back to Bethlehem, Pa. set to race at the historic 50th annual Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh University.
A week later, Delaware will head up to Newark, N.J. set to race at the Highlander Invitational, hosted by NJIT at the Branch Brook Park on Oct. 12.
Breaking new ground while closing out the regular season, the Blue Hens will travel to College Station, Texas for the Arturo Barrios Invitational hosted by Texas A&M prepared to race at the Watts Cross Country Course on Oct. 18.
Postseason action heats up on Nov. 1 at the 2024 CAA Cross Country Championship, hosted by Elon University at the Elon Cross Country Course in Elon, N.C., which will serve as the last time Delaware will compete for a CAA cross country championship.
Looking ahead, the team aims for success at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Nov. 15, hosted by Penn State in State College, Pa. The season culminates with the 2024 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Nov. 23 in Madison, Wis., hosted by the University of Wisconsin.
