Cross Country Ranked in USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Region Preseaon Poll

NEWARK, Del. — The University of Delaware cross country program has been ranked No. 15 in the NCAA Division I Mid-Atlantic Region Preseason Poll, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Monday.
Per the USTFCCCA, rankings are determined by one member coach in each respective region, measuring returning team's prospects and current season results to determine rankings in member programs.
The Blue Hens, along with Monmouth, are the lone Coastal Athletic Association teams ranked in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Other CAA schools who are ranked are Northeastern (No. 7, Northeast region), Elon (No. 9, Southeast Region), Stony Brook (No. 12, Northeast region) and William & Mary (No. 15, Southeast Region)
UD kick off its 2024 campaign at the Lehigh Invitational on Friday, Aug. 30 with the race starting at 6:15 p.m.
