CAA Releases Women’s Basketball 2024-25 Conference Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) announced the 2024-25 women's basketball conference schedule Tuesday afternoon.
Delaware will play its final CAA slate in the new year starting on Friday, Jan. 3 as the squad will travel up I-95 to Philadelphia to face the defending champions Drexel. Immediately following the road trip, the Blue Hens return to the First State for a two-game home stretch and host Hofstra (Jan. 5) and North Carolina A&T (Jan. 10).
Additional home contests include Elon (Jan. 24), Charleston (Jan. 26), UNCW (Feb. 7), Monmouth (Feb. 14), William & Mary (Feb. 16) and Drexel (Mar. 6). The Blue Hens will close out the regular season inside Bob Carpenter Center on Saturday, Mar. 8 playing against Towson.
Delaware's road schedule includes trips to Hampton (Jan. 17), Campbell (Jan. 19), Towson (Jan. 31), Northeastern (Feb. 2), Hofstra (Feb. 9), Elon (Feb. 21), North Carolina A&T (Feb. 23) and Stony Brook (Feb. 28) completing the 18-game regular season schedule.
All CAA matchups will be available on FloCollege, with some games also airing on local linear television affiliates.
CAA All-Rookie honoree Ande'a Cherisier, team captain Tara Cousins and head coach Sarah Jenkins are back for the Blue Hens ready to lead Delaware's last dance in the conference. Delaware won its third CAA title in 2021-22 season with Cousins being the last remaining member of the championship squad.
All 14 teams will qualify for the 2024 CAA Women's Basketball Championship, which is scheduled for Mar. 12-16 at the Entertainment & Sports Arena, home of the Washington Mystics, in Washington, D.C. FloCollege will broadcast the first four days of the tournament and CBS Sports Network will televise the championship game for the third year in a row.
