Men's Tennis Announces Spring 2025 Schedule

NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware men's tennis team released their spring 2025 slate on Monday morning. The nineteen-match lineup features eight home events and eleven away competitions.
Head coach Marc Pibernat will enter his second year in his role alongside assistant coach Nate Perrone. Last year, the two led the Blue Hens to the CAA Championship semifinals after completing the regular season 4-1 in conference play. The team ended the year with an overall record of 16-4.
The 2025 season kicks off at home for the Hens with a three-match stretch. Morgan State will visit on Friday, January 24 and Villanova will visit on Sunday, January 26 both at Elkton Tennis Center. Howard will visit on Saturday, February 1 at DuPont Country Club.
The first road match of the season will take place on Friday, February 7 at LIU followed by another away match at NJIT on Saturday, February 15. To finish off that weekend, the Hens will invite Rider to play at Elkton on Sunday, February 16.
Keeping the New Jersey rhythm, Delaware will visit Princeton on Sunday, February 23. Temple will then travel down for a Friday, February 28 matchup at Elkton. The first week of March sees action at Navy for the Hens on Sunday, March 2.
Saturday, March 8 posts an exciting match for the Hens as they travel to No. 8 Columbia. CAA competitors Drexel and Hofstra will then visit Delaware for home matches on Friday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 18.
The Hens will then travel south for spring break to take on Georgetown on Friday, March 21 and La Citadel on Wednesday, March 26. The following weekend also sees away travels to VCU on Friday, April 4 and William & Mary on Saturday, April 5.
The regular season rounds out with an away match at Liberty on Friday, April 11 and a home match against George Mason on Friday, April 18.
Elon will host the CAA post-season competition beginning on Friday, April 25.
