McDaniel Earns CAA Preseason Honorable Mention

RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Delaware women's lacrosse senior Delaney McDaniel earned an Honorable Mention on 2025 All-CAA Women's Lacrosse preseason awards list as announced on Thursday.
McDaniel enters her fourth season with the Blue Hens as an attacker. She is no stranger to the CAA awards list as she was awarded Rookie of the Year in 2022 along with being appointed to preseason, all-rookie, and first team rosters in 2022 and 2023.
The Maryland native has brought the program much success over her time as her career statistics boast 35 goals, 91 assists, and 126 points. She finished second in the CAA for average assists per game at 3.14 and seventh for average points per game at 3.86 based on her 2024 season.
The women's lacrosse season will officially kick off at Delaware Stadium against Temple on Feb. 7 at 3:00 p.m.
