Women’s Lacrosse Adds Maggie Porter to Roster

NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Amy Altig has announced the addition Maggie Porter to the roster ahead of the upcoming 2026 season. Porter, an attacker from Stevenson, Maryland, joins the Fightin' Blue Hens after spending the fall semester at Penn State.
Porter played her high school lacrosse at St. Paul's School for Girls where she was a two-year starter and was a team captain as a senior. She helped lead St. Paul's to a top-three national ranking in each of her first three seasons as well as three Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM) finals appearances, winning the championship in 2022 and 2024. Porter scored 78 goals and added 37 assists for 115 points in her career, including 30 goals as a senior. In addition to her field lacrosse work, Porter was a 2024 National Indoor Championship finalist. She also played soccer and field hockey in her time at St. Paul's.
Delaware will begin the 2026 season on Friday, February 6 when the squad makes the short trip to Philadelphia for a contest at Temple. The Blue Hens are slated for nine home games at Delaware Stadium as they enter their first season as members of the Atlantic Sun Conference.

Women's lacrosse ticket deposits are available now. Season ticket packages, individual game tickets, and group tickets will go on sale at a later date.
