VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The University of Delaware track & field team competed in the CAA Indoor Championship for the final time this past week.

The Blue Hens saw much success during the two-day event achieving many all-time and personal accolades.

RESULTS
The following athletes were the top finishers for the Blue Hens in their respective events:

Sara Manson finished third in the pentathlon, breaking the program record for the event with a personal best of 3446 points. She finished first in the 800-meter run with a personal best of 2:21.78, tied for eighth in the high jump with a personal best of 1.52 meters, and third in the 60-hurdles. Her time in 60-hurdles ties for second in program history and is a new personal best (8.86 seconds)
Olamide Ayeni finished third overall in the shot put, earned a spot as third in program history and picked up a new personal best (14.74 meters)
Leah Clear, Lauren Leath, Kadence Dumas, and Marissa Dailey took second place for their distance medley relay. They now sit at third in program history and no. 69 in the NCAA (11:45.71)
Jayde McDermid landed herself in the program all-time top ten in seventh with her 8.97 seconds time in the 60-hurdles.
Leah Clear earned a new personal best in the preliminary mile run (4:56.32)
Sarah Sharp earned seventh place in the pentathlon 800-meter run (2:37.23)
Brooke Duke tied for eighth in the pentathlon high jump (1.52 meters) and earned a new personal best for the 60-hurdles (9.88 seconds) and shot put (7.07 meters)
Lauren Leath collected a new personal best in the 400-meter run (56.54 seconds)
Emarie Jackson placed fifth overall in shot put (14.64 meters)
Maya Giordano achieved a new personal best in the weight throw (15.53 meters)
Erin McGoey claimed a new personal best in the 3000-meter run (10:22.49)
Morgan Mims grabbed a new personal best in the 400-meter dash (57.60)
