NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware women's tennis team defended their home courts during Wednesday's morning match against Georgetown. The Blue Hens held the Hoyas 5-2.

Delaware's record now shifts to 9-4 with a conference record of 1-0.

ON THE RECORD
"Hard fought match against Georgetown today," assistant coach Kylie Moulin said. "Had a quick start on courts two and three to help us secure the doubles. Georgetown fought back hard in singles and really pushed us on all courts. We were able to respond well and find a way to win collectively as a team. Ready to take what we learned today to get ready for a quick turnaround against Stony Brook on Friday and Hofstra on Saturday."
