Lock Takes CAA Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Delaware men's tennis junior Tobey Lock has been selected as the CAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week, as announced on Tuesday afternoon.Â
Lock earned this week's award after two productive matches against Rider and Drexel. During Thursday morning's match against Rider, Lock clinched the match with his singles win against Matteus Froberg Dahlin, 7-6 (2), 6-4. The Blue Hens were able to wrap up the match 7-0 thanks to Lock's contribution.Â
On Friday against Drexel, Lock clinched the doubles point with partner Alexandre Gluck against Josue Guzman & Antonio Franquis, 6-2. Lock made quick work of his singles opponent, Will Burridge as he finished first, 6-2, 6-2.Â
On the season, Lock posts a singles record of 8-4 and doubles record of 7-4.Â
Lock will join the Delaware squad for a road match at Georgetown on Friday at 11:45 a.m.Â
