Eighth Inning Rally Leads To Baseball Win over Bryant

NEWARK, Del. – An eighth inning rally for the University of Delaware baseball team leads to a 4-2 win over Bryant on Sunday at Bob Hannah Stadium.
With the win, the Blue Hens improved their record to 5-6 on the season.

HEN HIGHLIGHTS
- Andrew Amato led the way going 4-for-4 with an RBI.
- Evan Bouldin went 1-for-4 with two RBI's
- On the mound for the Blue Hens was Ryan McLaughlin, Carter Welch, Tim Hartman and Jake Pollaro. The four went nine innings, allowed two runs (one earned) off five hits, and struck out seven batters. Pollaro picked up the win and is 1-0
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bryant got off to a 2-0 lead through the first six innings.
- Aaron Graeber scored the Blue Hens first off a sacrifice fly in the bottom the sixth.
- In the bottom of the eighth, Amato scored Jackson Tyer off a double to left center field. Bouldin drove in Amato and Finn Rory with a go-ahead single.
