NEWARK, N.J. - The University of Delaware women's tennis team landed a success during their second double header match on Saturday afternoon against Monmouth, 6-1. In their final CAA debut, the Blue Hens made quick work of the Seahawks.

Delaware's record now shifts to 8-4 with its conference record of 1-0.

ON THE RECORD
"We were definitely tested today, and playing two matches in one day is never easy," head coach Pablo Montana said. "After a tough loss this morning, the girls showed great resilience, bouncing back in the afternoon to secure an important CAA win. Our fitness and recovery are in a good place at this stage of the season, but there's always room for improvement. Tomorrow will be a well-earned day of rest before we get back to work on Monday."

All three doubles duos were victorious with straight sets.
Alina Vasilenko, Paulina Jurkowska, Navya Vadlamudi, and Cornelia Kack all silenced their singles opponents in straight sets.
