NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware track & field team competed in its only home meet of the season, the Delaware Invitational on Friday, April 4.

RESULTS

The following athletes were the top finishers in their respective events:

Erin McGoey was first in the 3,000 steeplechases (11:13.70). Her time ranks 10^th in program history
Morgan Mims was first in the 200-meter dash (24.75). Her time ranks 10th in program history
Rachel Starr was first in the 1500-meter run (4:52.91).
Jianna Molin was first in the 100-meter dash (12.30)
Jordan Blanck was first in the 800-meter run (2:17.80)
Lauren Leath was first in the 400-meter hurdles (1:03.58)
Mackenzie Stephens was first in the hammer throw at 51.87 meters
Rachel Schmitt was first in the javlin throw (41.82 meters)
Sara Penuela was first in the long jump (5.55 meters)
Kamila Soja was first in the 5,000 meters (17:45.67)
Olamide Ayeni was first in the discus throw (49.99 meters). Sophia Axelrod's throw of 43.37 meters earned second place in the event and ranks sixth all time
Madison Schaffery and Libby Neiburg were tied for third at 1.55 meters in the women's high jump
Jayde McDermid was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles (14.70). Her time was 10^th all time in program history.
