RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Delaware women's tennis team downed VCU in its afternoon road match on Saturday, 4-1.

On the season, the Blue Hens now stand at an overall record of 14-6 and CAA record of 3-0.

ON THE RECORD
"That was a big win for us today!" head coach Pablo Montana said. "We showed a lot of heart and resilience in the doubles, coming back from behind on all three courts to clinch the point. It was a huge momentum boost. In singles, we came out strong right away, grabbing an early win at No. 5 and fighting hard on every court. I'm incredibly proud of our girls for their effort, toughness, and never-give-up mentality. We'll carry this confidence and energy into our match against Richmond tomorrow!
