Gormley Tabbed CAA Co-Defensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Delaware women's lacrosse defender Erin Gormley has been named CAA Co-Defensive Player of the Week for her performance against Elon, the league announced Monday.
Gormley was instrumental in helping the Blue Hens take down Elon, 16-9, who was previously undefeated in conference action. The graduate defender caused four turnovers and scooped up three ground balls in the victory. The Springfield, Pa., native also notched her first career assist on Friday.
Gormley and the Hens return to action on Friday at Campbell.
