NEWARK, Del. - The University of Delaware men's tennis program had two athletes named to the 2025 CSC Academic All-District Team as announced on Tuesday. Juniors Euan Mackenzie and Tobey Lock both earned spots based on their athletic and academic performance.Â
The honor recognizes the nation's top tennis student-athletes for excellence both on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. For collegiate tennis, players must also compete in at least 70% of the team's total matches that count toward team scoring during the season.Â
Mackenzie is a program veteran originally from Scotland. This year, he posted an overall record of 19-5 in singles and 21-9 in doubles. He is currently earning his undergraduate degree in economics.Â
Also from the United Kingdom, Lock collected an overall record of 24-7 in singles and 21-7 in doubles. The English native is studying sport management with a minor in international business.Â
The two are actively involved in the university community as they have served as representatives for the men's tennis program in SAAC, UDance Dance Marathon, and community service efforts. Â
