Delaware has 12 Student-Athletes Named to CSC At-Large Academic All-District Team

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware had 12 student-athletes recognized on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) At-Large Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday. The at-large team recognizes student-athletes across four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Schools were allowed to put forth a maximum of six men's nominees and six women's nominees from a variety of sports including men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, field hockey and rowing. To be eligible, a nominee must have been a starter or important reserve during the 2024 season, must have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) in undergraduate and (if applicable) graduate studies and is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Daniel Adkins, Men's Golf
Adkins earned his MBA from Delaware this spring, posting a 3.73 GPA during his one year in Newark after graduating as valedictorian of his class at Barton. He registered a 75.78 stroke average in nine rounds played this season, including a 77 in the final round of the CAA Championship.
Casper Nerpin, Men's Golf
Nerpin, a communications major, owns a 3.78 GPA through his first three seasons. The Stockholm, Sweden native earned All-CAA Second Team honors after leading the Blue Hens with a 72.96 stroke average. He capped his season with a third-place finish at the CAA Championship, Delaware's highest individual placing since 2012.
Egor Zubov, Men's Golf
Zubov graduated from Delaware this spring with a 3.96 GPA as a finance major. The senior was second on the team with a 73.79 stroke average this season and finished seventh in the UD record books with a 74.35 career stroke average. He won the men's individual title at the 2025 PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship.
Louie Atkinson, Men's Lacrosse
Atkinson, a sophomore finance major, has a 3.91 cumulative GPA during his time at Delaware. On the field, the Brookhaven, Pennsylvania native started all 13 games on defense for the Hens in 2025.
Tyler Owings, Men's Lacrosse
Owings, a sophomore accounting and finance major, has a 3.77 cumulative GPA in his two years in the 302. In 2025, the Hereford, Maryland native played in all 13 games with nine starts. He recorded 16 goals and an assist for 17 points with two game-winning goals.
Owen McGee, Men's Lacrosse
McGee, a sophomore university studies major, has a 3.53 cumulative GPA as a Blue Hen. This spring, he played in 12 games with three starts, notching three goals with one assist for four points.
Cecile van Eijck, Field Hockey
van Eijck assumed the starting goalkeeper role after transferring from Kent State, while enrolling into the Masters of International Business Program. She graduated after accumulating a 3.75 GPA in the spring, including a 3.87 in the spring semester. van Eijck had five shutouts and helped the Blue Hens capture a CAA Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance.
Lilia Henkel, Women's Golf
Henkel graduated from Delaware this spring with a 3.84 GPA as a computer engineering major. She played in every team round this season, ranking second on the squad with a 74.89 stroke average and had two top-10 finishes. Henkel became the third Blue Hen to win the individual title at the 2024 CAA Championship.
Morgan Gore, Women's Lacrosse
Gore, a finance major, owns a 3.99 cumulative GPA through her first three years at Delaware. She earned All-CAA Second Team honors this past season after tying for third on the squad with 30 goals and tying the program's single-season record with 13 free-position goals. Gore appeared in all 16 games and had 20 ground balls, 15 draw controls and 10 caused turnovers.
Jaclyn Marszal, Women's Lacrosse
Marszal, a communications major, has accumulated a 3.97 GPA through her first three years. She appeared in all 16 games in 2025, ranking second on the team with 50 points on 21 goals and 29 assists. Marszal had back-to-back five-point performances against UMBC (4g, 1a) and Georgetown (1g, 4a) and also registered five points (1g, 4a) in the CAA Semifinals.
Sarah Donaldson, Rowing
Donaldson, a graduate student from Newark, Del., secured a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA while obtaining her Masters in Business Administration degree. She also earned All-CAA honors after helping the squad tie their highest finish at their conference championship in May.
Cornelia Meiss, Rowing
Meiss, who completed both a cognitive science and computer science bachelor's degree while in Delaware, earned All-CAA honors for the second time in her career. The Germany native had a 4.0 cumulative GPA during her academic tenure.
Athletic Eligibility
Each sport had its own athletic eligibility requirements. For field hockey, nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For men's and women's golf, nominees must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's team scoring events or in the lineup at the conference championship tournament. For men's and women's lacrosse, nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played or have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For rowing, nominees must compete in four competitions or compete as a member of an NCAA boat (1V8, 2V8, 1V4) at a conference championship.
