LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Delaware men's lacrosse senior OJ Morris was named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-American, the outlet announced Tuesday. In addition, the Delaware men's lacrosse team earned a USILA Team Academic Award for the 2025 season.
The USILA Scholar All-America program recognizes student-athletes with at least a senior academic standing who achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher and has been honored as an All-American or with an All-Conference award.
Morris, who was one of three players in the CAA named a Midseason All-American by Inside Lacrosse, was dominant as UD's number one faceoff option. The Dublin, Ohio native finished second in the country and first in the CAA in faceoff percentage (.686), while ranking third in the conference in ground balls per game (5.23) en route to an All-CAA First Team nod. He was also named an All-American Honorable Mention by USA Lacrosse Magazine and the USILA.
Morris becomes the eighth Blue Hen to be named a USILA Scholar All-American and the seventh in the last three years. He is one of 120 Division I men's lacrosse players named to the USILA Scholar All-America list in 2025.
To qualify for the Team Academic Award, schools must have a team GPA of at least 3.0. This season, Delaware is one of 44 Division I men's lacrosse teams to earn the honor. It is the third-consecutive year that the Blue Hens have cracked the list.
