NEWARK, Del. – University of Delaware Men's Golf Head Coach Brendon Post has announced the men's golf schedule for the upcoming fall season. The Fightin' Blue Hens are entering their first season as a member of Conference USA and will play in five tournaments in the first half of their season.
For the second-consecutive season, the Blue & Gold will open the season at the Bryan National Collegiate (Sep. 6-7) in Greensboro, N.C., hosted by UNCG. Last season, UD was 10-under par as a team over the final 36 holes to finish second in the 10-team field. Arsit Areephun (-5) and Egor Zubov (-3) both finished among the top 10.
For the first time since college golf moved to multiple-team tournaments, Delaware will host its own event when the Blue Hen Intercollegiate (Sep. 15-16) is held at White Clay Creek Country Club in Wilmington. UD will welcome in 11 teams for the two-day, 54-hole tournament.
Delaware will close out September with its second-straight appearance at the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational (Sep. 29-30). The two-day event will be held in Farmington, Pa. and hosted by West Virginia University. Last fall, the Blue & Gold was led by another top-10 finish by Zubov and placed eighth in a challenging 14-team field.
The Blue Hens will make the short trip to Westfield, N.J. for the Georgetown Intercollegiate (Oct. 13-14). The squad will look to improve upon its showing last fall when it tied for fifth place. Areephun tied for 10th to lead UD in the individual standings.
The fall portion of the schedule will close out when the Blue & Gold travel north for the Nassau Intercollegiate (Oct. 21-22), hosted by LIU in Glen Cove, N.Y. Delaware played in the same tournament last season and closed out the fall with a third-place finish in a 13-team field. Playing in tough, windy conditions, the Hens shot up from 10th place over the final 36 holes and were led by Ikk Iampongsai who tied for sixth.

Delaware returns three of its top five scorers from a season ago when the team finished in the top five in eight of the team's 10 tournaments. UD had three runner-up finishes as a team and won the Rutherford Intercollegiate in the spring for the programs first tournament title since the 2021-22 season.
