Cross Country Ranked No.13 in USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Region

NEWARK, Del. — The University of Delaware cross country program is ranked No. 13 in the NCAA Division I Mid-Atlantic Region poll, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Monday.
Per the USTFCCCA, rankings are determined by one member coach in each respective region, measuring returning team's prospects and current season results to determine rankings in member programs.
The Fightin' Blue Hens enter the regional rankings after a 15th place finish at the Southern Showcase on Friday, September 12. The team had a program best 18:09 average 5K time.
UD hosts its annual Blue Hen Invitational on Friday, September 19 at White Clay Creek. The meet is set to start at 9 a.m.
