PHILADELPHIA - The University of Delaware track & field team kicked off the new year at the Penn Select meet, hosted by the University of Penn, on Saturday.Â
RESULTS
- In the weight throw, Sophia Axelrod (15.10 meters) and Maya Giordano (14.99 meters) earned top 10 finishes, while Olamide Ayeni set a new personal best in the event (14.03 meters).Â
- Ayeni also finished fourth in the shot put at 13.30 meters.
