NEWARK, Del. - Seven members of the University of Delaware field hockey team were named to the first-ever MPSF All-Academic Team, the conference announced this week.
Â
Student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher, be a sophomore academically, complete one full academic year prior to the season in which the award is being given for and play in at least 50.0-percent of the team's games in that season in order to be recognized by the conference for this nod.
Â
Lily Cosner, Cameron Medinger, Emma Miller, Sarah Rigual, Noelle Sabbagh, Rachael Whitehead, and Tetje Williamson all received the honor from the conference.
Â
Miller and Sabbagh were two of 60 student-athletes across the athletic department to post a 4.0 GPA in the 2025 fall semester.
Â
In the inaugural season of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation sponsoring field hockey, Delaware defeated UC Davis in the conference championship to claim its 13th conference title in the past 15 years and 17th overall.
