Women’s Lacrosse Takes Home Four Major Awards; Six Selected to ASUN All-Conference Teams

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Already the regular season champions with an 8-0 record in conference play, the University of Delaware women's lacrosse team was the recipient of even more hardware on Monday morning when the Atlantic Sun (ASUN) Conference announced its postseason awards. The Fightin' Blue Hens claimed four of the conference's six major awards and had six student-athletes named to all-conference postseason teams, which were selected by votes of the league's nine head coaches who could not vote for their own players.
Senior Ella Rishko was a unanimous selection as the ASUN Offensive Player of the Year, senior Morgan Gore was named the ASUN Midfielder of the Year, and sophomore Kennedy Radziul earned ASUN Defensive Player of the Year honors. Additionally, head coach Amy Altig was unanimously selected as the ASUN Coach of the Year. Rishko, Gore, and Radziul were joined on the All-ASUN First Team by senior Jaclyn Marszal as Delaware's four first team selections were a league high. Junior Molly Baumgratz earned a spot on the second team and freshman Maggie Porter was recognized on the all-freshman team.
Ella Rishko – Offensive Player of the Year, All-ASUN First Team
Rishko leads the Blue Hens with 48 goals and is second with 60 points. She is atop the ASUN in both goals and goals per game (3.00) while ranking fifth in total points and points per game (3.75). She has 12 hat tricks and 14 multi-point games, including five games with at least five points. Rishko has also been a key member of Delaware's defensive ride, leading the quad with 33 caused turnovers and averaging 2.07 caused turnovers per game, which ranks second in the ASUN and leads all attackers in the country. The Rehoboth Beach, Delaware native has also been dominant in the draw circle, setting a UD single-season record with 88 draw controls and ranking fourth in the ASUN with 5.50 draw controls per game.
Morgan Gore – Midfielder of the Year, All-ASUN First Team
Gore is second on the team with 31 goals and has 36 points in 15 games with seven hat tricks and 12 multi-point performances. She has also stuffed the stat sheet with 14 draw controls, 14 ground balls, and 11 caused turnovers. In eight ASUN games, Gore averaged 2.4 goals and 3.0 points per game. The Crofton, Maryland native reached the 100-career point mark in Delaware's final home game of the season and surpassed the 50-career ground balls and 50-career draw controls milestones earlier this season. Earlier on Monday, Gore was named the ASUN Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Kennedy Radziul – Defensive Player of the Year, All-ASUN First Team
Radziul has been a leader of Delaware's stiff defense, appearing in all 16 games and leading the squad with 34 ground balls while ranking second with 27 caused turnovers. She is seventh in the ASUN in caused turnovers per game, eighth in the ASUN in ground balls and ninth in ground balls per game. Radziul and the UD defense lead the ASUN and ranks ninth nationally in scoring defense (8.31) while holding 10 opponents this season under 10 goals.
Jaclyn Marszal – All-ASUN First Team
Marszal leads the Blue Hens with 62 points on 25 goals and an ASUN-leading 37 assists which ranks third in program history for a single season. Nationally, she ranks 22nd in assists and 26th in assists per game (2.31). Marszal has 14 multi-point performances and four games this season with at least seven points, including a 10-point performance against Queens earlier this month. Her eight assists at Queens are tied for the third-most in a game in Delaware history and the most by an ASUN player this season.
Molly Baumgratz – All-ASUN Second Team
Baumgratz has become a dominant force in the draw circle, ranking fifth in the ASUN with 77 draw controls and sixth with 4.81 draw controls per game. She is Delaware's primary draw taker and has helped the Blue Hens set the program record with 241 draw controls as a team this season. UD is tied for fifth nationally in draw control percentage (.621) and ranks 15th nationally in draw controls per game (15.06). In ASUN play, Delaware owns a .709 draw control percentage and is averaging 18.0 draws per game.
Maggie Porter – ASUN All-Freshman Team
Porter has jumped onto the scene in her first collegiate season, appearing in all 16 games and racking up 13 goals and six assists for 19 points. She scored a goal in six-straight games at one point and has three multi-goal and four multi-point games.
Amy Altig – Coach of the Year
Altig is Delaware's first conference coach of the year since 1998. She has led the Blue Hens to their third-straight season with at least 10 wins and their 12 wins this season are the most by a UD team since 2000. -Delaware is on an 11-game winning streak, the program's longest since 1983 and has scored at least 13 goals in 11-straight games, the longest streak in program history. The Blue Hens are one of five teams to rank in the top-20 nationally in scoring offense, scoring defense, and draw control percentage.

Delaware won the ASUN Regular Season Championship with an 8-0 record in conference play. The top-seeded Blue Hens will travel to Jacksonville for the 2026 ASUN Championship this week and has a bye through the quarterfinals. They will play in the first semifinal game at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 30 against the winner of fourth-seeded Lindenwood and fifth-seeded Coastal Carolina.
