2016 SEASON
Competed in all but one regatta as a member of the Varsity Eights • helped lead the boat to victories over George Mason, Duquesne and Lehigh • the crew finished third in its heat at the Murphy Cup, third in its final at the Dad Vail Regatta, and fifth at the CAA Championship • Varsity Eights also placed third at the Temple/Lehigh Invitational and second at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational • named to the CAA All-Academic Team • selected CRCA National Scholar-Athlete.

2015 SEASON
Competed with the Second Varsity Eights boat for all six of the regattas during the season • helped lead the Second Varsity Eights to a sixth place finish in the finals of the Dad Vail Regatta and a third place finish in the CAA Championship • selected to the CAA Academic Honor Roll • named National 5&10 Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week on May 10.

Swam for four years in high school • Member of National Honors Society 2013-2014 • member of Spanish Honors Society • National Finalist of NCTE (National Council of the Teachers of English), Community Service Award, Honors Graduate from West Springfield High School • Freshman year - Bedford High School, Varsity Swimmer, swam in Districts, Regionals, and States, team finished 8th overall • Sophomore year - Bedford High School, Varsity Swimmer, swam in Districts, Regionals, and States • Junior year - West Springfield High School, Varsity Swimmer, swam in Districts and Regionals • Senior year - West Springfield High School, Varsity Swimmer, swam in Conferences, Regionals, and States, Team won Conferences, Placed 4th at Regionals, and 10th at States • All District/Conference- 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 • broke the 4x100 Freestyle School record.

Emma Christine Spillman • born Aug. 11, 1996 • daughter of Mark and Kathleen Spillman • has two younger brothers, Aaron and Collin • neuroscience major at Delaware and is hoping to obtain a PhD in Neurobiology and do research for a private institution.
