Four-time letter winner who adds depth and versatility to the team’s attack unit and speed to the midfield • CAA Academic Honor Roll selection • member of Chi Alpha Sigma (National College Athlete Honor Society) • Delaware Lacrosse family legacy as the niece of Barbara Wolffe Pollard • graduated in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Health Sciences.
2016 SEASONStarted two of nine games played • scored lone goal of the year from the 8-meter line in 13-4 win against Canisius (March 5) • controlled two draws versus Drexel (April 15) before collecting a career-high three draw controls in overtime victory at Hofstra (April 17) • registered first career caused turnover versus George Washington (Feb. 16) • also recorded a ground ball against the Colonials • member of Chi Alpha Sigma (National College Athlete Honor Society) • CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2015 SEASON
Saw action in six games during her junior year • collected two points on two goals • went 1-for-1 from the 8-metre arc in 14-5 win at Monmouth (March 4) • also registered a goal at Canisius (March 15) • got off two shots at La Salle (Feb. 25) • National College Athlete Honor Society selection.
2014 SEASON
Appeared in five games • finished season with two goals, two points, a groundball and draw control • tallied first goal and groundball of the season in 18-7 win over La Salle (March 5) • added goal and draw control in win at George Washington (March 22) • went a perfect 1-for-1 in free position goals.
2013 SEASON
Competed in nine games for the Blue Hens in rookie campaign • finished season with two goals • went 1-for-1 in free position goals • shot .333 and went .667 in shots on goal • scored first collegiate goal against George Mason (April 7).
HIGH SCHOOL
Three-sport athlete (lacrosse, field hockey, track & field) for all four years at Merrimack High School • US Lacrosse All-American and Academic All-American • 2012 Nashua Telegraph Female Athlete of the Year • helped lead lacrosse team to 2012 D2 state championship and the field hockey team to the 2011 D1 Final Four • four-time Telegraph All Stars First Team selection • holds nine indoor track school records at MHS • played for Beth Rogers (lacrosse), Ann Maclean (field hockey) and Shawn Crotou (track) • National Honors Society and Scholar student • graduated in the top 15 percent of her class.

Emily E. Pollard • born November 5, 1993 in Boston, Mass. • daughter of Chip and Liz Pollard • has an older sister, Carolyn, and an older brother, Chris • sister played lacrosse at Penn (2007-11) • aunt, Barbara Wolffe Pollard, played lacrosse and field hockey for the Blue Hens and is a 1990 alum • cites her sister as a major influence in her as an athlete because her drive and dedication towards lacrosse serves as an inspiration • began playing lacrosse in third grade • chose Delaware because of the great academics and athletics in addition to the beautiful campus and good location • majoring in dietetics with the goal of becoming a registered dietitian • enjoys skiing and hiking in the mountains.
