Matthew Eamonn "Matt" Marone ("muh-rone") • born Aug. 13, 1995 • son of Mike and Veronica Marone • youngest of four children • both parents and sister, Emily, attended University of Delaware • brother, Mike, played lacrosse at Hobart (2010-14) • father, Mike, is a lawyer • Mike was a standout player for Bob Shillinglaw at Delaware in 1978-82 • led team to a four-year record of 35-28, a perfect 16-0 record in East Coast Conference play, and four straight ECC titles • earned All-American honors as a freshman in 1979 and was a two-time All-ECC selection • scored 91 goals and 62 assists for 153 points in his career and graduated as Delaware's No. 4 all-time leading scorer.
