At Delaware: First-year member of squad after transfer from High Point University • will have sophomore eligibility for the Blue Hens • will add solid support to defensive unit.
At High Point: Two-year member of the squad at High Point (N.C.) University for head coach Jon Torpey • program was a club team in 2012 before moving to varsity in 2013.
2013 Season: Backup defender for High Point team that played its first season of collegiate men's lacrosse • team went 3-12, including ann opening day 12-10 loss at home to Delaware • dished out an assist vs. Drexel • among the victories was a win over Colonial Athletic Association champion Towson • played in 12 games but did not see action vs. Delaware • named a Millis Scholar-Athlete.
2012 Season: Member of High Point Club Team but did not see action and retained freshman eligibility • named a Millis Scholar-Athlete.
Personal: Vincent Shea "Vince" Garman • born Dec. 3, 1992 • son of Chris and Lisa Garman • has an older brother and sister • sport management major at Delaware • would like to become a college coach and/or athletic director • owner and CEO of his own company - Keystone Strings • also works as a youth lacrosse coach during the summer • father played college football at Kutztown (Pa.) University in 1985-87 • enjoys golfing, whitetail deer hunting, and going to the beach at Sea Isle City during his spare time • Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) fan.
