Softball Defeats Middle Tennessee, 4-3, on Gallucci's Walk-Off Hit

University of Delaware softball sophomore Sorella Gallucci recorded her first career walk-off hit as UD defeated Middle Tennessee, 4-3, for Delaware's its sixth consecutive win and fifth-straight conference win.

Jaclyn Marszal

Marszal led the Fightin' Blue Hens with eight points against Saint Joseph's, tying her season high of four goals and dishing out four assists. She added a key caused turnover and ground ball in the final seconds to preserve the 13-12 victory. Marszal factored in seven of Delaware's first eight goals as the Blue Hens overcame a halftime deficit for the first time this season. The senior also had eight points at Lindenwood last month, becoming the first Blue Hen since 2023 to have multiple games in a season with at least eight points.
