Baseggio led Delaware's defense in its home opener against Rutgers, finishing with five ground balls and four caused turnovers, setting a new career high for ground balls and tying her personal best for caused turnovers. The five ground balls are the most in a game by a Delaware player since March 6, 2024. The junior reached the 50-career ground ball milestone against Rutgers in her 34th-career game.
