Delaware Rowing Registers Three Top-10 Finishes at Navy Day Regatta

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Delaware rowing team continued its 2013 fall season when it participated in the Navy Day Regatta on the Schuykill River this past Saturday, Oct. 12.
Delaware's two Collegiate JV 8+s placed highest for the Blue Hens as the UD "A" crew finished sixth overall and the UD "B" crew finished ninth. The UD "A" crew completed the race in 14:24.89 while the UD "B" crew finished with a time of 14:50.41.
The Blue Hens Collegiate/Open 8+ finished 10th of 21 crews in their heat with a time of 14:17.82.
In Delaware's first race of the day, the Collegiate 4+ finished 17th overall with a time of 16:33.29.
