Five Tournaments Highlight University of Delaware Men's Golf 2013 Fall Schedule

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware men's golf team will compete in five tournaments this fall as the Blue Hens released their 2013 fall schedule on Wednesday.
Delaware opens its fall campaign at the Navy Fall Classic in Annapolis, Md on Sept. 14-15, as the Blue Hens will participate in that invitational for the 13th consecutive year.
After a weekend off Delaware heads back to Lorton, Va. to compete in the George Mason Patriot Invitational on Sept. 28-29, before immediately travelling to the Joe Agee/William & Mary Invitational in Williamsburg, Va. on Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
The Blue Hens will then participate in the Binghamton Collegiate Fall Invitational in Apalachin, N.Y. on Oct. 6-7, before wrapping up their fall schedule at the Old Dominion Outer Banks Intercollegiate on Oct. 20-22 in Kill Devil Hills, N.C.
Delaware, led by 13th-year head coach Mike Keogh, posted top 10 finishes during nine of 11 tournaments last season, including six performances among the top five.
The Blue Hens will be paced by co-captains Dan Costenbader (at right) and Niño Rosal, along with junior Fraser Graham and sophomore Kyle Martin. Costenbader, the team's lone senior, ranked fifth on the team with a 77.83 average round last season while Rosal, one of three Blue Hens to appear in all 11 invitationals, was fourth on UD with a 77.69 stroke average.
Graham averaged 82.91 shots per round while competing in four tournaments a year ago while Martin enjoyed an excellent freshman campaign, appearing in all but one tournament and ranking third on the squad with a 77.54 average round. Additionally, Keogh will add four high school standouts who will begin competing for the Blue Hens in the fall.
