Kyle Martin Tied for Fourth Place, Blue Hens Sixth Following Second Day of ODU/Outer Banks Invitational

POWELLS POINT, N.C. -- University of Delaware junior Kyle Martin carded a two under par 69 during Monday's round to finish the day tied for fourth place in the individual standings at the Old Dominion/Outer Banks Invitational.
Martin, who fired his third round in the 60s of the season with his 69 on the par 71, 6,535-yard Kilmarlic Golf Course, is tied for fourth with a one under par score of 72-69-141 heading into Tuesday's final round. Gaston Bertinotti of Campbell leads the field with his five under par score of 70-67-137.
Martin led the Blue Hens to a 288 team score on Monday, as Delaware currently sits in sixth place out of 16 teams with a two-round total of 585. James Madison leads the team standings with a 575 score, while Hartford is second at 578.
UD freshman Erik Dulik carded an even par 71 during his round on Monday, moving up into a tie for 26th place with a five over par score of 76-71-147. Fellow rookies Jack Gianniny and Kieran Purcell each followed up their opening round 75 with a three over par 74, as both players are tied for 36th place at 75-74-149, seven over par.
Freshman Blaine Lafferty fired a six over par 77 during his second round and is tied for 50th place with a 10 over par score of 75-77-152.
The third and final round of the tournament will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday with split tee times.
