STORYLINES
• Delaware wraps up its season-opening five game road stretch today at Villanova. The Blue Hens play the first of three consecutive home contests on Wednesday by hosting Army in the home opener.
• Villanova has won all previous 12 meetings with Delaware, including victories in each of the past five seasons. The Wildcats are 10-0 against Delaware in Villanova and 1-0 in Newark, while the 2010 contest was played at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
• Delaware has never defeated a ranked team in school history, as the Blue Hens have dropped all 30 games to teams ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.
• Delaware scored just 47 points during Tuesday's loss at Stanford, its fewest points since a 65-44 loss at Old Dominion on Dec. 5, 2009. The 37-point margin of defeat was the program's highest since an 88-50 setback at No. 2 Duke on Dec. 1, 2012.
• The Blue Hens have scored 60 points or fewer in four consecutive games for the first time since Dec. 29, 2006 through Jan. 6, 2007. Delaware has opened the season with four games of 60 points or fewer for the first time since the 1953-54 campaign.
• UD freshman point guard Kory Holden is tied for third in the CAA by averaging 4.5 assists per game and tied for fourth with a 1.8 assist/turnover ratio.
