· McCartney extended her point-scoring streak to 38 consecutive games against Monmouth while posting her sixth hat trick of the season.
· The reigning Colonial Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week, sophomore Casey Lyons has now posted 30 points in the last five games, scoring 19 goals with 11 assists. She is the first UD player to post five points in five consecutive games since Karen Emas had five straight games with at least seven points during the 1983 season.
· Senior Chelsea Fay scored a goal on Wednesday night, upping her goal-scoring streak to 35 straight games.
· Fay and McCartney reached the 100-career goal mark in consecutive games.
Tori Zorovich is making a statement in her senior season, as she is 5-0 with 7.56 goals allowed per game and 37 total saves in 349 minutes played.
SERIES INFORMATION
· Saturday's game is the first ever meeting between the Delaware and George Washington women's lacrosse programs. Kateri Linville is in her fourth season with her alma mater and currently holds a career record of 29-30.
· Tara Hannaford is in her seventh season as the head coach of the Colonials and is 44-63 all-time at George Washington.
ABOUT GEORGE WASHINGTON
The Colonials return to the field for the first time in over a week after earning a convincing 18-8 win over Mount St. Mary's on March 12. GW improved to 4-1 on its home turf and has outscored its visitors by a 74-49 margin this season. With 38 points on the year, junior Jamie Bumgardner (14g, 24a) paces the Colonial offense, leads the Atlantic 10 and ranks sixth in NCAA Division I with 5.43 points per game. She ranks atop the conference and is second in the nation with 3.43 assists per game while her 24 total assists is good for third in the nation. Freshman goalie Erin Long has made 18 saves in 238 minutes of work and owns a 9.59 goals against average while junior Mackenzie Jones has set aside 24 shots in 283 minutes between the pipes and possesses a goals against average of 11.26.
