Slane, Chua Lead University of Delaware Women's Golfers To Dual Meet Victory Over Brown

The Blue Hens posted a 322 team score on Friday and a 297 score on Saturday on the par 72, 5,965-yard Encinitas Ranch Golf Course to defeat the Bears by 23 strokes. It was the second dual meet victory in the program's three-year history, along with a win over Cal State Monterey Bay two years ago.
Slane carded an 80-72-152 during the two days, while Chua tied her with a 76-76-152. Sophomore Vimonthip Benjasupawan tied for third place with a 10 over par 81-73-154, while junior Amanda Terzian also tied for third at 79-75-154.
Junior Annie Bowlsby carded a 12 over par 79-77-156 to tie for fifth place, while freshman Vitoria Teixeira finished ninth with a 16 over par score of 83-77-160.
Emma SillsThe Blue Hens return to action this Friday and Saturday when they compete in the UNCW Invitational at River Landing Golf Course in Wilmington, N.C.
