Ian Hennessy
“This was a great win in front of a fabulous crowd for our home opener. We had a sluggish start and today was more a collective effort than any one single person. It was a good, solid team effort. In the end, the quality showed through with two very good goals by Nick DiRienzo and Ben Asante.”
Senior Midfielder Ben Asante
“From the start of preseason, I have wanted to be on the scoring sheet. It wasn't easy tonight as I had a lot of touches in the first half, but couldn't get anything going. Kyle Bruno had a great assist on my goal and I knew I had to bounce on it. The crowd really supported us and showed their love for UD soccer tonight.”
Junior Midfielder Nick DiRienzo
“It was great to get a win in our first home game, but we did not play the way we can. We need to improve before Sunday's game against LIU.”
