University of Delaware Men's Soccer Star Guillermo Delgado Earns CAA Player of the Week Honors

Ian Hennessy, are now off to a 4-0 start - their best start since the 1972 campaign - and will host Seton Hall (Sept. 10) and St. Peter's (Sept. 14) in two homes games this week at Grant Stadium. Delaware is ranked No. 16 in this week's Top Drawer national poll and No. 24 in the College Soccer News rankings. The updated NSCAA Top 25 poll will be announced on Tuesday.
In just 24 career games, Delgado now has five multi-goal games and has scored 19 total goals, already good for No. 10 on the all-time UD career scoring list.
Delgado shared the weekly CAA award with William & Mary sophomore forward Reilly Maw. College of Charleston freshman goalkeeper Brian Kilgallon was named the CAA Rookie of the Week.
