Blue Hens Tabbed IWLCA Team Community Awareness Award Winners

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The University of Delaware women's lacrosse team was honored recently for their commitment to service as the Blue Hens were named the IWLCA Division I Team Community Awareness Award recipients at the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's Honors Banquet at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.
Kateri LinvilleDuring the 2014-15 campaign, Delaware contributed to seven team community service events and raised more than $8,000 for local charities.
In addition to spending countless hours in the classroom and on the field, the Blue Hens also dedicated time to Karing for Katie, Go Baby Go Mobility Challenge, Nick Colleluori HEADstrong Foundation, Domestic Violence Awareness, Special Olympics, B+ Foundation and UDance.
Limestone College (Division II) and Randolph Macon College (Division III) were also awarded for their work in the community.
