LAST TIME OUT
Casey Lyons became the first player in 32 years to score nine goals in a game as #rv Delaware defeated Lafayette, 22-2, at Fisher Stadium Tuesday evening. Lyons, who tallied six goals in the first half, finished the game with 10 total points. The Blue Hens tallied 12 goals in the first half for the second straight game and held a 12-1 advantage at the break. In total, UD had goals from seven different players while five had multiple goal games.
SERIES INFORMATION
· Penn leads the all-time series against Delaware, 6-2.
· The Quakers have won two straight over the Blue Hens.
· Last season, No. 16 Penn defeated Delaware, 11-8, at historic Franklin Field. Shannon Hawley led UD with four points on two goals and two assists.
· Delaware's last win versus Penn came on March 15, 2006 as the Hens picked up a 10-9 victory over the No. 17 Quakers at Rullo Stadium.
· The two teams have never faced off at Delaware Stadium.
· Karin Brower Corbett (William & Mary '92) is in her 16th season at the helm of the Quakers. During her tenure, Penn has posted a mark of 161-89 (.644) while collecting eight straight Ivy League titles and three trips to the national semifinals.

The Quakers (0-0), the defending Ivy League and Ivy League Tournament champions, kick off the 2015 campaign Saturday at Delaware ranked No. 14 in the IWLCA poll with 147 votes. First Team All-American and Ivy League Defender of the Year Meg Markham returns for the Penn defense and plays in front of fellow Tewaaraton Award nominee and First Team All-Ivy selection Lucy Ferguson. After missing all of last season with injury, 2013 Ivy League Midfielder of the Year Shannon Mangini will also return for the Quakers. She will join Penn's leading scorer from 2014, Tory Bensen, and First Team All-Ivy selection Nina Cocorcan on attack. As a group, Penn returns nine players who have earned 12 career All-Ivy selections.
