Alex Zaugra is ninth all-time with 245 career saves. Lisa McBeth (1978-79) is in eighth with 301 career stops.
SERIES INFORMATION
· Delaware leads the all-time series between the two programs, 14-11, dating to the 1978 season.
· Rutgers has won five straight and seven of the last eight against the Blue Hens, including an 8-7 victory in Piscataway last season.
· UD last defeated RU, 7-6, on Feb. 28, 2008 in Newark.
· Also manning the sidelines at her alma mater, Laura Brand-Sias (Rutgers '99) is in her 13th season with the Scarlet Knights. She has posted a mark of 105-90 at Rutgers and is 115-97 overall after spending a season as the head coach at Fairfield.
ABOUT RUTGERS
The Scarlet Knights come into Saturday's game after dropping a heartbreaking double overtime contest to Monmouth, 13-12, Wednesday. Rutgers defeated Villanova to open the year but lost to Fairfield prior to falling to the Hawks. All contests have been close for the Scarlet Knights, as RU has outscored opponents by a slim 32-31 margin. Junior Halley Barnes leads the team with eight goals while redshirt senior Lauren Sbrilli has posted seven points on five goals and two assists. Sbrilli guides Rutgers with six groundballs while senior Jenny Vlahos has controlled nine draws. Senior Candice Dandridge has played all 192 minutes in the cage and has allowed 9.69 goals per game with a .466 save percentage.
