Rachel Lee Paces Delaware To Third Place Finish at North Florida Collegiate

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Four Blue Hens finished among the top 20 to help lead the University of Delaware women's golf team to a third place finish this week at the North Florida Collegiate.
Patty PostBlue Hen freshman Rachel Lee carded her third consecutive three over par round of 75 on Tuesday on the par 72, 6,050-yard course at Jacksonville Golf and Country Club, tying for ninth place with a nine over par 75-75-75-225. Lee posted her second top 10 finish of the year, after placing third at the season-opening Tignanelli Towson Invitational.
Andi SlaneAmanda Terzian shot a 77 during her final round and tied for 20th place with a 13 over par 78-74-77-229, while Vitoria Teixeira carded a 75 to finish tied for 28th at 75-82-75-232, 16 over par. Grace Chua tied for 35th place with an 18 over par 77-78-79-234, while Nathalie Filler tied for 46th place with a 20 over par 78-77-81-236.
Megan Thothong of Houston earned medalist honors after she carded a one over par 75-74-68-217 for the tournament.
Delaware returns to action on Mar. 30-31 when the Blue Hens compete in the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
