All-Time Series: Delaware and Rutgers meet for the first time since 2008 • the Scarlet Knights lead the series by a 14-9 margin since the first game in 1951 • Delaware has won three straight meetings, including victories of 10-6 in 2006, 7-5 in 2007, and 10-8 in 2008 • Rutgers last won in 2005 with an 8-7 triumph.

STORYLINES
• The game will be the opener of a men's/women's doubleheader at Delaware Stadium which will also include the No. 19 ranked UD women hosting Temple at 3 p.m.
• The Delaware men, in the midst of a seven-game homestand, return to action for the first time since dropping a tough 11-7 decision to Binghamton at Delaware Stadium last Sunday in a game that was moved back a day due to a snowstorm earlier in the week. Delaware jumped out to a 2-0 lead but the Bearcats fought back, took a 5-4 lead into halftime, and outscored the Hens 4-1 in the third quarter to take control. Jackson Finigan scored a career-high three goals and dished out an assist to lead the UD attack while Will Hirschmann scored twice and Tyler Barbarich won 8 of 12 faceoffs.
• Hirschmann, who ranks No. 23 nationally with three man-up goals this season, was named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week for his efforts.
• Rutgers (2-5), which played its last five games at home, hits the road for the first time since mid-February today as the Scarlet Knights look to snap a three-game losing streak that includes setbacks of 10-9 to Monmouth, 9-7 to Army, and 13-9 to Stony Brook last Saturday. Rutgers opened the season with a 10-8 win over St. John's and followed with losses of 15-7 to Richmond and 14-5 to Virginia before a 13-10 triumph over Wagner.
• Delaware Active Career Scoring Leaders: Brian Kormondy (38g-28a); Beau Jones (26-31); Tom Holland (39-10); Steve Delargy (17-10); Jackson Finigan (14-18); Jeff Heath (16-3); Alex Martinelli (10-6).
• Shillinglaw, now in his 40th season as a head coach and his 37th at Delaware, needs just four wins to reach 300 for his career with the Blue Hens.
• Kormondy had his three-year 27-game point streak snapped vs. Binghamton.
• Rutgers' Christian Trasolini was the Inside Lacrosse National Player of the Week the first week of the season.
• UD leads the CAA in man-up offense (.423/No. 28 in NCAA) and ranks No. 25 in shot pct. (. 308).
• UD goalie Brett Anton ranks No. 23 in the NCAA in goals against average (9.22) and No. 29 in save pct. (.531).

• For Rutgers, Joe Nardella, a Tewaaraton Award National Player of the Year Watch List and Senior Class Award nominee, is No. 4 in the NCAA in faceoffs (.703) and No. 6 in groundballs (8.7).
