Delaware Men's Lacrosse Home Game Tuesday vs. Holy Cross Moved to 11 a.m. Start

NEWARK, Del. -- Due to the chance of inclement weather later in the day, the University of Delaware men's lacrosse matchup with Holy Cross set for this Tuesday, Mar. 3, at 3 p.m. has been moved up to an 11 a.m. start.
Delaware returns home for the first time since Feb. 7 when the Blue Hens opened the home schedule with a thrilling 11-10 comeback win over Bucknell.
Delaware (2-3), which begins a seven-game homestand today, followed that win over Bucknell with a 10-3 loss at Ohio State, an 11-10 win over Mt. St. Mary's, and a 10-4 setback at Villanova this past Saturday. Bucknell, Ohio State, and Villanova were all receiving votes in the USILA Top 20 at the time of their games with Delaware.
Holy Cross (2-1), a member of the Patriot League, opened the season with a 10-9 win over first-year Colonial Athletic Association entry Fairfield and followed with a 13-12 win over then #8 Loyola before falling to Navy 7-6 this past Saturday. The victory over Loyola marked the Crusaders' first-ever win over a ranked team and vaulted them into the USILA Top 20 for the first time in school history.

• In Memoriam: Delaware will wear decals on their helmets this season in memory of former UD player Don Pyle and his wife Sandy, who were killed along with their four grandchildren in a house fire in Annapolis,Md. in January. Don was a member of Delaware's 1979 East Coast Conference title team and had remained a loyal supporter of UD Athletics as an event organizer and benefactor.
