ABOUT GEORGE WASHINGTON
GW defeated Mount St. Mary's, 18-12, Tuesday to snap a three-game losing skid and improve to 2-4 on the year. The Colonials outscored the Mount, 9-2, in the second half to rally from a halftime deficit. Senior Rachel Mia matched a team record with seven goals in a game while classmate Jamie Bumgardner set a new program mark with seven assists and added three goals for 10 points, which equals the second-most in a game in team history.
