Colin Wong Picks up Fifth Consecutive Win

EMMITSBURG, Md. – Colin Wong (Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia/SMK Kota Kemuning) continues to be a bright spot on the University of Delaware men's tennis roster as the freshman notched his fifth straight win Sunday at Mount St. Mary's.
As a team, the Blue Hens dropped the 5-2 decision to the Mount (7-4) to move to 0-12 on the year.
Wong earned the 6-4, 6-3 victory in No. 6 singles against Peter Salomon.
Also registering a win for Delaware was junior Tim Puterio (Kingston, R.I./South Kingstown), who defeated Louis Tonon, 6-2, 6-0, in the fifth slot.
Despite not collecting the team doubles point, freshmen Shane Jeffray (Manasquan, N.J/Wall) and Matt Renzi (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Mendon) paired for an 8-7 (7-2) victory against Adam Salam and Mateo Desomocurcio.
