SERIES INFORMATION
· Princeton leads the all-time series, 18-4, over Delaware since the first matchup in 1985.
· The Tigers have won 17 straight against the Blue Hens. UD's last win came with a 9-7 victory over the nation's top-ranked team on April 27, 1989 at Delaware Field.
· In the last pairing, No. 14 Princeton defeated Delaware, 14-9, in Princeton on April 25, 2006. Megan Hager led the Hens with four goals in the loss.
· A US Lacrosse Hall of Famer, 10-time Ivy League champion and three-time NCAA champion, Chris Sailer is in her 29th season at the helm of the Princeton women's lacrosse program. Sailer is the fifth winningest coach in NCAA history across all divisions with 351 career victories.
ABOUT #11 PRINCETON
No. 11 Princeton has won three straight and most recently defeated California, 19-7, to move to 7-1 on the year. Eight Tigers scored goals with Erin Slifer, Olivia Hompe and Anna Doherty leading the charge with four apiece. The team's lone loss came two weeks ago as the Tigers fell to No. 8 Virginia, 18-11, in Charlottesville, Va. Hompe is Princeton's leading scorer with 31 points on 23 goals and eight assists while Slifer is not far behind with 20 goals and nine assists for 29 points. Slifer has tallied a team-best 13 groundballs while Hompe has 12. The duo also combines for 23 draw controls while Erin McMunn and Anna Doherty are tied with a team-high 17. Ellie DeGarmo is 6-1 in goal for the Tigers and has a .488 save percentage with 9.37 goals allowed per game.
